The Bering 165 is the shipyard's flagship model in its ocean-going explorer line. This steel-hulled yacht combines reliability, seaworthiness, and a high level of comfort.
A collaboration between the Bering shipyard and Swiss studio Valentine Design, this vessel offers its owners virtually unlimited cruising possibilities. One of its key design features is the enormous aft terrace (optional with a pool) that doubles as a beach club. It expands with folding bulwarks, creating a space with a 180-degree open horizon. During passage, the aft terrace serves as a stowage area for tenders and water toys.
Accommodation accommodates 12 guests in six cabins. The main deck features two (or three) VIP cabins, while the lower deck has three double cabins. The owner's suite occupies the aft half of the upper deck, featuring a 32 m² stateroom. The forward section features a sky lounge with a dining area offering 180-degree views forward, as well as a private area with a Jacuzzi. The open aft owner's terrace offers complete privacy. Meals are prepared and served in a serving area adjacent to the dining area, connected to the main galley by a food elevator.
On the bridgedeck, in addition to the helm station and captain's cabin, there is an open, but sheltered, hardtop barbecue area with sofas and a fireplace. Also noteworthy is the uppermost small deck with sun loungers, offering 360-degree views. The crew quarters on the lower deck comfortably accommodate 8 to 10 people, depending on the yacht's layout.
The Bering 165 is powered by twin 1,300-hp engines, giving the yacht a top speed of 15 knots. At 12 knots, the vessel has a range of over 4,500 miles without refueling. The engine room provides ample space for the installation of hybrid systems and a large battery pack.
