Shipyard Bering Yachts

Bering’s history began in 2007 with the construction of a 50-foot all-metal vessel in Foshan, China. After completing that project and delivering six more yachts, the company moved operations to Turkey in 2017. This pivotal step spurred further expansion, including a new shipyard in Bulgaria. Bering Group is now globally headquartered in the United States and has exclusive representatives in several countries.

Core principles: why owners choose Bering

Safety, comfort and reliability are the three pillars of Bering’s philosophy. The company understands the unpredictability of the sea. Bering Yachts builds steel motor yachts with long ranges of approximately 2,500 to over 10,000 nautical miles, providing outstanding autonomy. Excellent seakeeping and stability are essential characteristics of these expedition-class yachts.Despite its substantial model range, Bering positions itself as a highly customizable builder. Owners value the fact that no two yachts have identical layouts and finishes. Since 2024, Bering Yachts and Aberton Yachts have been official partners, collaborating not only on sales but also on model development. Aberton Yachts is a co-designer of the Bering 165 and 130, among the most promising models in the range.

Identity and brand DNA

Notable projects include the 44-metre hybrid super-explorer Bering 145 (Heeus), with an indicated range of approximately 12,000 nautical miles in diesel-electric hybrid mode and fuel-tank capacity of 70 tonnes, and the futuristic 29-metre Bering 92 (Papillon). The Bering 80 and Bering 77 form the core of the fleet and have been among its most sought-after models thanks to transoceanic autonomy, robust steel hulls and strong charter appeal.
