Shipyard ISA Yachts

ISA Yachts was founded in 2001 and immediately began building custom superyachts during the fast-growing market of the 2000s. By 2004, the yard was delivering three or four large yachts annually and built 28 superyachts during its first 12 years. In 2016, its assets were acquired by Palumbo Group (now Palumbo Superyachts), an Italian shipbuilding and repair leader with a history spanning half a century.

Production facilities

ISA Yachts is based in Ancona on Italy’s Adriatic coast. Its 52,000 m² site includes seven production workshops, covered construction halls, a powerful 3,300-tonne syncrolift and design and project-management offices. The scale of the hulls and technology makes a lasting impression on visiting clients. The facilities can build several yachts up to 80 metres simultaneously, with a maximum vessel length of 120 metres. ISA also specializes in complete metal yacht construction, customization and complex refits.ISA shares its headquarters and production site with Extra, Columbus and Mondomarine, all part of Palumbo Superyachts. Close cooperation between the four brands enables engineers to integrate successful new ideas and technical solutions rapidly and effectively.

The yard’s international reputation is associated with award-winning superyachts recognized at the World Superyacht Awards: the 54-metre Columbus Prima, honoured by the Prince of Monaco; the innovative hybrid Columbus Divine; and the 80-metre Columbus Dragon.
