Construction of the 65-meter ISA has been ongoing for the second year now, and the project is currently entering a particularly interesting stage - the structure is gradually beginning to take the shape of a real yacht, and its lines and proportions are becoming increasingly distinct. The client's interests in the construction deal were represented by Aberton Yachts.

To form the steel hull, 20 separate sections were built, which were then combined into a single structure.
One of the most important stages of this summer was the joining of the steel hull with the aluminum superstructure. Since these are two different metals, their connection is made through a special bimetallic transition plate - the so-called tri-plate. This technology makes it possible to reliably connect the aluminum superstructure to the steel hull.
On October 1, the yacht left the shipyard in Ravenna and headed to Ancona where it was placed in a covered hangar of Palumbo Superyachts. There, the next major stage of construction will begin: installation of engineering systems and communications, electrical parts, equipment, as well as further interior and finishing work.
Throughout the entire construction process, the team of surveyors from Aberton Yachts regularly visits the shipyard and monitors the progress of work. Based on the results of inspections, remarks and recommendations are formed and passed to the Palumbo team, and are consistently addressed and closed as construction progresses.
The project is gradually moving from hull construction to the comprehensive outfitting of the yacht - and with each new stage, ISA 65 increasingly acquires its final appearance.
