Shipyard Extra Yachts

Extra Yachts was launched in 2017 as part of Palumbo Superyachts, a group that also includes Columbus Yachts and ISA. The brand is built around the idea of “extra possibilities”: not merely speed or eye-catching looks, but above all generous interior volumes that deliver exceptional comfort. Another key feature is extensive customization, sometimes with several existing layout alternatives, making each Extra largely unique. A third advantage is advanced technical equipment at a competitive price.

Design and engineering

Extra yachts have evolved considerably. Collaborators who have helped propel the brand forward include Francesco Guida Design, Hot Lab and Argo Studio. A progressive management team, engineers and guest designers continue to explore new solutions. The current 30–45-metre range embodies the brand’s DNA: extraordinary possibilities within familiar dimensions.

Production

Extra Yachts is headquartered and built in Ancona, sharing production facilities with ISA and Columbus. Close cooperation between the three brands enables Extra engineers to apply solutions usually reserved for 40–50-metre yachts, resulting in technically sophisticated and well-equipped vessels. Composite hulls are produced in a dedicated industrial area near Mondolfo and transported by road or sea to Palumbo Superyachts’ main Ancona facility.
