Bering Yachts has officially started construction of its flagship model — the Bering 165 superyacht. The keel-laying ceremony for the first hull marked the beginning of construction of one of the most ambitious yachts in the shipyard’s history. Aberton Yachts represents the client in this transaction and is overseeing the project throughout all stages of construction.

The 50‑metre superyacht, with a beam of 9 metres and a gross tonnage of 499 GT, is designed to redefine the potential of transoceanic travel. Leading experts worked on the vessel’s design and engineering: the exterior was created by the Swiss studio Valentin Design, while the overall architecture was developed by Aberton Yachts. The distinctive five‑deck layout not only visually expands the space but also enhances functionality, while fully preserving the yacht’s readiness for long ocean voyages.
The Bering 165 combines Bering’s proven steel expedition‑class construction with luxurious comfort and high autonomy. The propulsion system consists of two 1,300 hp Caterpillar engines: the cruising speed is 10 knots, with a maximum speed of up to 15 knots. With a fuel capacity of 70,000 litres, the yacht has a range of over 5,000 nautical miles — enough to cross any ocean without refuelling.
To accommodate additional water transport and toys, the aft part of the main deck is used, where, in addition to the standard diesel tender and jet skis, a 9-meter boat is stored. This makes it much more comfortable for guests to navigate significantly away from the vessel, allowing them to use the main yacht as a "base" for traveling in the selected region, without need to re-anchor in another nearby location.
