Almost immediately after the full resumption of the production process, the Italian shipyard Sanlorenzo launched the first hull of the 44Alloy model - a new fast displacement 44.5 m - yacht, made entirely of aluminum (displacement - 470 tons). The fact that this model will be extremely popular became known in advance - long before its official premiere, 5 contracts were signed, all hulls are already under construction at the La Spezia shipyard. The yacht is scheduled to make its debut in September at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2020, which is now confirmed by the organizers.
The external lines of the four-deck Sanlorenzo Alloy 44 were designed by the team of Bernardo Zuccon (Zuccon International Project), and the interior of the first yacht was penned by Florentine designer Michele Bonan. At the center of his concept is the owner’s three-level apartment with a total area of 145 square meters, which includes both indoor spaces and private areas on open decks. According to Sanlorenzo, similar solutions have not been implemented yet on yachts of similar size.
The new Alloy 44 is a conceptual upgrade to the previous and highly successful Sanlorenzo 40 Alloy. The new original layout is complemented by a large beach club with folding terraces on three sides, as well as a very spacious open relaxation area on the bow deck, which implies different usage scenarios.
