The Italian shipyard Cantiere delle Marche, located in Ancona and specializing in the construction of expedition yachts, announced the sale of the second hull of the new 35-meter MG115 project to the future Owner from Asia (first ordered in November by an American client).
Both the exterior lines and interior of the MG 115 were designed by Florentine designer Francesco Paszkowski, who handled the entire new MG range. Now it includes 3 projects - MG115, MG129, MG148, and in the foreseeable future all models will be available on the water: MG129 is already under construction; the contract for MG148 is coming). Paszkowski used in his design the most popular approach today: maximum natural light, proximity to water and many open spaces.
According to Vasco Buonpenciere, one of the founders of the Cantiere delle Marche and sales director,
- "We don't build yachts that just look like expedition boats, responding to the latest trends. We have shown the market that we can build real explorers who look elegant.
The four-deck yacht is designed to accommodate 10 passengers in four cabins on the lower deck (2 of them VIP) and a master suite on the main deck forward. The crew will consist of 6 people.
For the development of the Cantiere delle Marche project she worked with the naval architect Sergio Cutolo from Hydro Tec. The goal was to create an efficient hull capable of developing a serious for the Explorer speed of 13.5 knots, and in the economic 10 knots mode have a range of over 5000 nautical miles.
As commented by Bruno Piantini, CEO of Cantiere delle Marche,
- "The most experienced yacht owners from all over the world know that Cantiere delle Marche offers the best of Italian style combined with the unrivalled quality that is typical of northern Europe. Over the years, we have worked on all fronts and have now achieved the goals planned 10 years ago: our commercial success and our reputation are the best proof".
