Returning for its highly anticipated 46th edition, the Cannes Yachting Festival consistently delivers one of the finest displays of luxury yachts in the world. The lineup also tends to include several world-class premieres from shipyards eager to present their latest designs, and this year is shaping up to be no different. Here are some of the hottest debuts to look out for across Port Vieux and Port Canto when the show kicks off on 12 September...

Builder: Azimut Yachts

Length: 18.5m

An ode to freedom and elegance, the new Magellano 60 is a crossover that gracefully expresses an explorer spirit boosted by the navigational prowess of a Dual Mode hull, which the brand says delivers up to 20 per cent less fuel consumption at cruising speeds than a comparably sized yacht on the market. Its discreet charm smoothly unwraps through ample spaces with a luminous nature, while its comfort courteously delivers a travel privilege that knows no boundaries. A pleasant and promising onboard philosophy for prolonged journeys to new frontiers.

Designed in collaboration with Ken Freivokh, this latest addition to Azimut's Magellano line was created for owners who enjoy long voyages at sea in a proven and economical package. The Magellano 60 also made headlines earlier this year when the model was selected to trial the HVOlution biofuel during its maiden voyage from Savona to the Sicilian city of Taormina.
