First news regarding construction of a new Triple Bay Yacht Club on the northwest coast of Saudi Arabia have come. This project should stimulate the development of the yachting industry in the Middle East and along the entire Red Sea coast. The marina is scheduled to open in 2024. Construction is managed by Amaala luxury development firm, a subsidiary of the Red Sea Development Company. The marina project is included in the Saudi Vision 2030 program.

The water area of the Triple Bay Yacht Club is being built on the territory of three natural bays and will occupy 10 hectares. In addition, the Quai d’honneur (“Quay of Glory”) will be renovated in the yacht club for organising boat shows and regattas. The marina is designed for 120 berths and will accommodate yachts up to 130 meters long. Guests will also have the opportunity to privately arrive at the tender and get from the water level through special gates directly into the four-storey yacht club with an area of 7900 square meters. Inside, there is an outdoor restaurant on the terrace, an infinity pool, and a beach-style lounge on the roof.

The original design project of the yacht club was created by the HKS international architectural bureau. Its authors emphasize that they strictly follow the rules of LEED certification (Guidelines for Energy Efficient and Environmental Design), in order to reduce the impact on the environment.

John Pagano, Amaala CEO, says, Triple Bay Yacht Club “We anticipate that Amaala will become an international hub for luxury yachting, and as such, the yacht club required a world-class design, influenced by the surrounding natural elements and Arabic heritage, and underpinned by our commitment to sustainability.”
