The Genoese shipyard Tankoa Yachts has successfully launched the 50-meter aluminum motor yacht Kinda, the fourth hull from the S501. Kinda was constructed on the same engineering platform as the previous hulls from the line: Vertige, Bintador и Olokun. The project designer Francesco Paszkowski sticks to the usual brutal exterior profile; however, some differences came on the scene: this is the first yacht of the series with a pool in the bow of the main deck.

The hull is equipped with a hybrid propulsion system that offers 3 cruising modes: diesel-mechanical, diesel-electric and full-electric. The system was developed in cooperation with MAN and Siemens and has already been tested on the Bintador hull, showing excellent results in terms of fuel consumption, increased comfort and extended generator life.

“As our second yacht with hybrid propulsion, this launch confirms we are at the forefront of technological research in order to meet the needs of even the most sophisticated owners,” says Tankoa CEO,Vicenzo Poerio.

The yacht boasts an impressive 499 GT of interior volume. Five cabins will accommodate up to 11 guests on board. The master suite is located forward on the main deck.

Meanwhile, work is underway on the fifth hull from the 50-meter series, this time equipped with a classic propulsion. The yacht is scheduled for delivery by the end of 2022. Construction of the sixth hull is also underway, the yacht is available at Aberton Yachts..
