Aberton Yachts, represented by broker Alina Emerly, has sighed the 8th hull of the 38-meter flagship of the Italian shipyard Azimut Yachts - Grande Trideck. The superyacht is expected to be delivered to the owner in autumn 2022. The vessel will receive a number of custom options, including an upper deck office suite, a powerful audio system, professional karaoke on the sundeck, an 85-inch TV in the saloon, custom interiors and hull paintwork with a superstructure.
Grande Trideck is the largest vessel in the Azimut Yachts lineup and the first yacht of the shipyard with a raised aft main deck, which provides an additional terrace on the upper deck (sea view terrace deck). This solution freed space for a full-fledged 2 meters height beach club on a 38-meter yacht with a total area of 30 square meters (including an open transom platform). Altogether, the Trideck’s aft forms a breathtaking view with the effect of cascading terraces extending from the sundeck to the water. The novelty, with less than 300 GT, has a sporty and elegant design. The exterior was penned by Alberto Mancini, who works closely with the shipyard.
The Azimut|Benetti Innovation Department and Pierluigi Ausonio have also created a second-generation D2P hull for the Trideck, which delivers excellent fuel economy performance: the Trideck consumes up to 40% less than conventional semi-planing hulls. There is also a noticeable reduction in consumption compared to the 1st generation of the D2P hull: the novelty has the same fuel consumption at any speed from 19 knots as the Grande 35 Metri, despite the fact that the Trideck is 3 meters longer, 30 tons heavier, and the displacement is 35 tons more. At a cruising speed of 15 knots, Trideck consumes 15% less fuel than her "younger sister".
