Renowned Italian motor yacht manufacturer Benetti has announced the sale of the fifth hull of the 37-meter expedition superyacht B. YOND. Aberton Yachts also contributed to the promotion of the model on the world market by signing a contract for the construction of the second hull in July 2020, with the handover of the vessel to a client from Southeast Asia in August 2022. Let’s see how the shipyard managed to almost triple the number of customers in a year, and why the project is in demand among modern owners.

Built according to Stefano Righini's design, the B.YOND 37M features a steel displacement hull, aluminum superstructure, 465 gross tons of internal volume and a range of 5,000 nautical miles. In the 1990s, Benetti became the first shipyard to extensively use fiberglass for yachts over 30 meters. Today it is one of the first major players in the industry to return to steel, breathing life into revolutionary new designs. This project was the new generation expedition yacht B. YOND 37M, designed in the tradition of the famous shipyard and meeting the needs of modern owners.

The B.YOND 37M combines the reliability of a displacement yacht with a class-leading interior space. The four-deck vessel provides exceptional privacy thanks to a layout with a clear division of deck functionality: the lower deck is reserved for the crew and technical areas, the main deck has a luxurious owner’s cabin in the bow and 4 guest cabins, and on the upper deck you will find a multi-functional living area.

On the lower deck there is a beach club, a garage for 2 tenders and two jet skis, a gym, and cabins for the crew. Instead of a gym, an additional sixth guest cabin can be installed. The deck can be accessed from both the garage and a service staircase (with an elevator) connecting all decks. This layout allows the crew to easily move around the vessel without disturbing the guests.

The owners’ desire to enjoy nature and seascapes inspired Benetti to create an open profile B.YOND 37M with expressive exterior lines, reminiscent of the innovative spirit of the model. The yacht has also (as an option) a hybrid propulsion, developed in collaboration with Siemens, and allowing the vessel to operate in one of four eco-modes.

"The desire to anticipate customer needs always makes us to find original and functional solutions, so it's especially nice when these solutions resonate in the hearts of our target audience" - says Sebastiano Fanizza, commercial director at Benetti.
