Aberton Yachts agency is proud to announce the sale of the 47.5m M/Y Azzurra II. The deal was handled by our broker, Peter Soldatkin, who represented the buyer, and Peter Hurzeler from Ocean Independence, who represented the seller. Aberton congratulates the Buyer on a profitable purchase and wishes careless operation.
Made from steel and aluminium Azzurra II is one of the first ever yachts featuring panoramic glazing of the superstructure. Such design gives access for plenty of natural light and enhances the richness of the white leather and cream-colored wall panels and furniture. The space looks even larger with a mirrored ceiling in the main salon.
Azzurra II accomodates 12 guests in 5 cabins. The spacious master cabin is located on the upper deck and has a total of 21 floor-to-ceiling windows. In addition to the owner’s suite there are four guest cabins – two VIP-suites with double beds and two twins with additional beds. Each cabin is equipped with an entertainment centre, a flat-screen TV and has its own bathroom.
In 2008 the yacht was refitted: the sundeck was turned into a luxurious open-air recreation area. It now has a Jacuzzi for six, a fully stocked bar, a grill and a cinema. For sun protection a custom hardtop has been installed. Later the Azzurra II was upgraded further. In 2013 the hull was repainted and new engines were installed, and in 2014 the yacht got new carpets in the guest areas, as well as zero-speed stabilisers for maximum safety and comfort in all weathers.
The two MAN D2862 engines allows a maximum speed of 16 knots and cruising speed of 14 knots. The range at 12 knots is 6000 nautical miles.
