British shipyard Williams Jet Tenders, founded in 2004, manufactures luxury RIB tenders at a modern facility in Oxfordshire. Its early landmark models included the Ski Rib (2002) and the iconic TurboJet series (2005). The defining feature is waterjet propulsion, offering safety, excellent maneuverability and an efficient tender layout for accommodating guests on board.
The approximately 7,500 sq m factory specializes in advanced hull molding, hand assembly and customization for the garages of leading superyachts; today the company produces more than 1,000 tenders annually. Its facilities include an R&D center with a dedicated test pool for boats up to 7 meters. The shipyard’s design office, led by Dan Bloice-Smith, works closely with leading designers at European yards (including Ferretti Group, Fairline and Azimut) and exterior designer Aidan May. When designing new yachts, especially those under 30 meters, these yards consider the Williams model range when planning tender garages and swim-platform lifting capacities.
The tender range includes models from 2.8 m to more than 7.0 m in hull length, powered by gasoline or diesel engines. Williams is a clear leader in brand recognition in its segment and a symbol of quality and reliability. Nevertheless, it continues to innovate, introducing Petestep hydrodynamic hulls to reduce drag and testing recyclable materials as a foundation for future boatbuilding. Key development projects include the fully electric 7-meter Electric EvoJet 70e, with a 58.5 kWh battery and speeds of up to 34 knots, as well as the Quest range from the Evene sub-brand.
