A Classic Name in Italian Yachting
Ferretti Yachts traces its history to 1968, when brothers Alessandro and Norberto Ferretti founded Ferretti Nautica. Their first yacht, a 10-metre wooden motor-sailer, debuted in Genoa in 1971. Today, Ferretti Yachts builds luxury fiberglass flybridge motor yachts from approximately 15 to 30 metres at its facilities in Forlì and Cattolica.Design and Model Range
The current Ferretti Yachts portfolio includes the 500, 580, 670, 720, 800, 860, 940 and 1000 flybridge models, alongside the INFYNITO range designed for extended cruising. Exterior designer Filippo Salvetti combines timeless Italian elegance with functional layouts and intelligent use of space. Recent highlights include the Ferretti Yachts 800 and 940, both recognised at the World Yachts Trophies 2025. The INFYNITO 80 and 90 introduce the innovative All-Season Terrace, creating sheltered outdoor living areas. The brand’s distinctive appeal lies in its balance of traditional flybridge architecture, residential comfort and advanced marine engineering.Production and Technology
Ferretti Yachts operates production facilities in Forlì and Cattolica, covering approximately 64,000 square metres. Hull construction, assembly and outfitting are supported by Ferretti Group’s engineering and research departments. Development focuses on fuel efficiency, optimised hull geometry and onboard comfort. The INFYNITO range incorporates F.S.E.A. — Ferretti Sustainable Enhanced Architecture — featuring solar power systems and environmentally conscious materials. The brand continues to develop yachts suited to longer voyages without compromising luxury or performance.
