The Beneteau Gran Turismo 40 Open is a motor yacht designed for day cruising, leisure on the water and weekend getaways with overnight stays on board. The model combines an open-deck layout with a functional interior and comfortable spaces for relaxation.
The exterior styling is by Andreani Design, while the naval architecture is by Michael Peters Yacht Design. The bow features a U-shaped seating area with an electrically operated table that converts into a spacious sunpad. The aft cockpit serves as the main social area and can be fitted with an additional sun lounger. Electrically operated opening side terraces extend the cockpit space, while the T-top with an electric opening roof provides flexible sun protection.
The lower deck accommodates two sleeping areas and one bathroom with a separate shower compartment. The forward lounge converts into a double berth, while the aft cabin serves as the owner's cabin. This practical arrangement makes the yacht equally suitable for day trips and short cruising holidays with overnight stays on board.
The yacht is available with two alternative propulsion configurations: twin Yanmar inboard engines rated at 370 hp each, or twin Mercury Verado outboard engines rated at 425 hp each. For enhanced comfort at anchor, an optional Seakeeper 3 gyroscopic stabilizer is available.
With an overall length of 12.3 m and a beam of 3.7 m, the Beneteau Gran Turismo 40 Open combines generous outdoor entertaining areas, a practical lower-deck layout and a choice of propulsion systems to suit the owner's preferences.
