Benetti has unveiled the FB272 M/Y Luminosity, a hybrid giga yacht that looks like a real glass palace with beautiful views of the changing landscape. Giga's spectacular exterior is the result of a collaboration between Zaniz Jakubowski, Andrew Langton and Giorgio M. Cassetta, while the amazing interiors were penned by Zaniz Jakubovski.
More than 800 square meters of glazed surfaces and 3 meters high floor-to-ceiling windows, which are free of load-bearing structures, give LUMINOSITY a soaring look. The straight bow provides an excellent seaworthiness, while the huge foredeck serves a breathtaking view point. The main deck is a step down, offering additional dining and social areas protected from the sun by the graceful overhang of the beautifully designed superstructure. Above you will find the wheelhouse and even higher a secluded private deck leading to a certified helipad is located.
Propulsion system include six generators with a capacity of about 1000 kW each. The power generated by these units is electronically controlled by a sophisticated, fully integrated power system to power on-board systems and two 2200kW Azipod electric motors. The generated electricity is also used to charge 36 tons of batteries, enough to run the vessel for 12 hours without generators. This power unit represents the latest technology, created by such well-known companies as Caterpillar, Seastema, ABB, under the control of the Benetti technical department. Thanks to this system, the navigation is free of vibrations and noise. With such noise-free navigation, guests are unlikely to notice that they are on the way. The air conditioning and refrigeration units supplied by H&H are among the largest ever installed on a yacht of this size. The yacht is equipped with a waste heat recovery system that is saving energy in accordance with the latest environmental requirements.
The owner's deck is located below the bridge deck. The corridor is decorated with ten varieties of marble, while the cabin itself has granite details. The owner's bed can be electrically raised up to 80 cm for more comfortable view. Behind the headboard you will find a virtual window with a view broadcast from the bow. A huge dressing room leads to a separate massage room and a bathroom. Three more guest cabins and the owner's private office with bathroom and separate office are located on the same deck.
On the lower deck, a magnificent lobby leads to a stairwell and elevator, with 4 luxurious guest cabins behind it. While spending most of the time on this deck, guests can enjoy their own spa and luxurious private health club with an elegant sauna and Turkish bath. The spa and fully equipped gym with open doors are right on the water level. On this terrace, you will be stunned by 30 square meter pool, further surprising everyone by transforming into a dance floor by raising the bottom of the pool.
