Bering Yachts is a rapidly growing Turkish-built brand that has established a strong position in the expedition yacht segment. The shipyard has gained international recognition for its ocean-going steel yachts up to 50 metres, combining exceptional reliability, autonomy and seakeeping performance. With a continuously expanding model range, Bering is strengthening its reputation as one of the most compelling builders in the long-range expedition yacht market.
«It’s an unwritten rule for both owners and shipyards that we always move up in size! Our current range is from 50 to 145 feet, but the way we design and build them is the same way we always have. Everything is based on safety, comfort and seaworthiness, which means a low centre of gravity or metacentric height» - Alexei Mikhailov, founder and president of Bering Yachts.
The shipyard’s journey commenced in 2007 when Bering embarked on the construction of a 50-foot all-metal vessel in Foshan, China. Following the successful completion and delivery of six additional yachts, company relocated its operations to Turkey in 2017. This pivotal move ignited expansion, and further augmented production capabilities by establishing a new shipyard in Bulgaria. Presently, Bering Group’s global headquarters are situated in the United States, with additional offices in Germany and Australia.
Safety, comfort, and reliability are the three pillars of Bering’s construction approach. There is no freedom like the open water, but the ocean can present a number of unforgiving challenges. That’s why we at Bering Yachts always think about the best naval architecture can offer and build expedition boats using a combination of aluminum and steel.
